Turmeric Finger

Turmeric finger is the elongated secondary rhizome, generally preferred over bulb for its higher curcumin content and brighter colour. It is graded by origin variety, curcumin percentage and polish. Fingers are supplied to spice grinders, oleoresin extractors and the retail whole-spice trade.
